Venetian Morish Pasta With Anchovies


My travels often inspire me to cook and create new recipes. I recently went to Venice and sampled some of most delicious pastas in the world (Well, in my world that is).

Their secret? Nothing fancy. Keep it simple.

If you have the opportunity to visit there, go to Alfredo’s takeaway fresh pastas – Mega tasty, cheap and cheerful. We took our tub of pastas to one of the nearby canals, sat by the steps and watched the gondolas rowed passed us. Bliss.

How to make Spaghetti with Anchovies – Sauce: blitz together anchovies fillets, garlic, pine nuts, parsley and lemon juice. Mix the sauce with good quality spaghetti together. Add meatballs (Optional). Serve cold or hot.
